MARTIY REFUND & RETURNS POLICY
This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, and cancellations are processed on Martiy (the “Platform”). This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. GENERAL PRINCIPLE
Martiy is a marketplace platform. Products are sold by independent sellers, and refunds/returns are subject to seller policies, platform rules, and applicable laws.
2. ORDER CANCELLATION
- You may cancel your order free of cost before the item is dispatched.
- Once dispatched, cancellation may not be possible and the return process will apply.
- Sellers reserve the right to cancel orders before dispatch.
- If a prepaid order is cancelled, a refund will be issued.
3. RETURN ELIGIBILITY
You may request a return if:
- The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect
- The product does not match the description
- The return request is made within the allowed return period
You must:
- Provide proof (images/videos)
- Return the product in original condition with packaging
4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain items may not be eligible for return, including:
- Perishable goods
- Personal use items (if opened/used)
- Items marked as non-returnable by the seller
5. RETURN PROCESS
- Submit a return request through the platform
- Seller reviews and approves/rejects the request
- If approved, product must be shipped back
- Failed delivery attempts may result in item disposal
6. REFUNDS
Refunds are issued when:
- Order is cancelled before dispatch
- Return is approved and item received
- Order cannot be fulfilled
Refund methods:
- Original payment method OR
- Refund voucher (if applicable)
7. REFUND TIMELINE
- Refunds are processed within a reasonable timeframe after approval
- Processing time may vary depending on payment provider
8. REFUND VOUCHERS
- Can be used on Martiy within validity period
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Non-transferable and non-replaceable if expired
9. PROMOTIONAL VOUCHERS
- Valid for one-time use only
- Cannot be refunded or converted to cash
- May have minimum purchase requirements
- May not be valid during promotions
- Misuse may result in cancellation or legal action
10. FRAUD & MISUSE
We reserve the right to:
- Cancel refunds or orders in case of suspected fraud
- Verify user identity and transaction details
- Take legal action in case of abuse
11. FAILED RETURNS
If a returned item fails delivery after multiple attempts, it may be discarded and no refund will be issued.
12. THIRD-PARTY RESPONSIBILITY
Refund processing may involve third-party providers (payment/logistics). Their timelines and policies may apply.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Martiy is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by sellers or third-party services.
